Convicted Psychiatrist Faces Loss of License
July 13, 1949

Dr. Kenneth Tillerson, noted Boston psychiatrist convicted last May of a morals charge, today
faces possible loss of his license to practice medicine in Massachusetts.

The state board of registration in medicine voted to give him a hearing on the question in September.

Dr. Tillerson is reported visiting Europe and his counsel asking postponement of the hearing
that was to have been held today.

The psychiatrist resigned staff positions at the Harvard Medical school and at the McLean
(mental) hospital after conviction on the morals charge involved a former nurse at the hospital.
