The Danish health care service disciplinary board find the basis for criticizing Psychiatrist Mogens Broedsgaard for his treatment of < **** > in the period from the 4th of February 2013 to the 7th of March 2014 in his clinic, as the Psychiatrist has violated the authorization section 17.

The complaint

The complaint is as follows: < **** > did not receive a proper treatment by psychiatrist Mogens Broedsgaard in the period from the 4th of February 2013 to the 7th of March 2014. < **** > has, among other things, stated that he started treatment with Lithium on the 4th of February 2013, without prior medical examination, just as there were no follow up with regular blood tests or contact to the general practitioner. Further, it is stated that he was not given relevant advise in the context of withdrawing from Cymbalta, and thus suffered from severe withdrawal symptoms.
