DOCTOR’S LICENSE SUSPENDED
December 13, 2001

A doctor accused of secretly videotaping his children’s nanny undressing and distributing those images over the Internet had his medical license indefinitely suspended by the State Board of Medicine yesterday. Dr. Raymond J. Maciewicz cannot renew his license because of “conduct that undermines public confidence in the integrity of the medical profession,” the board said. In the ruling, the board called Maciewicz, a psychiatrist and neurologist, a person who “lacked the good moral character necessary for licensure as a physician.” Maciewicz has practiced medicine at Mass General Hospital and taught neurology at Tufts Medical School.
