Lewek’s Case Going to Lower Court

William Lewek is the the psychiatrist accused of hiding the body of missing Rochester man Matthew Straton. When he was arrested, he was also charged with drug possession. The lower court is called a “Judicial Diversion Program,” and is a program for felony offenders who face drug charges, and it could lead to a reduced sentence.
The prosecution has expressed opposition and a hearing is scheduled for May 15th.
