Aviel Li Goodman, 62, entered a guilty plea to one count of receipt of child pornography before U.S. District Judge Joan Ericksen in Minneapolis.
According to the U.S. attorney’s office, between 2015 and 2017 undercover agents downloaded numerous images and video files depicting child pornography from a computer IP address linked to Goodman’s St. Paul residence.
On Jan. 17, agents searched Goodman’s residence and seized a computer containing more than 20,000 child porn files.
The case is a result of an investigation by the FBI and was part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.
