A former psychiatrist has faced a Perth court charged with several counts of indecent dealing allegedly committed against nine children.

Sex offender management squad officers began investigating Benjamin Wen, 47, after receiving “information relating to his activities” while he was working as a psychiatrist between 2012 and 2016.

Several search warrants were executed and multiple items were seized, police said.
