Psychiatrist charged with selling prescriptions

WHITE PLAINS — A suburban New York psychiatrist has been charged with illegally selling prescriptions to medications including the painkiller Oxycontin and the anti-anxiety drug Valium.
The Westchester County district attorney’s office says Dr. Marvin L. Korn was arraigned Thursday on three counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance.
The 61-year-old Korn, of Larchmont, was arrested after a six-month undercover operation involving the Westchester district attorney’s office and the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Tactical Diversion Squad…
