Abusive ex-doc gets parole; Stanley Dobrowolski, jailed for 18 voyeurism, assault convictions in 2014, granted release from prison last month
January 6, 2017
Parole documents show after serving more than half of his four-year sentence behind bars, Dobrowolski was granted statutory release Dec. 21.
As part of his release, he’s prohibited from having any contact with his victims or their families, giving medical or psychiatric advice and having or accessing pornography.
His release comes six months after he was denied parole when it was determined he had little insight into his crimes.
Dobrowolski was convicted in 2014 of 18 charges of assault and voyeurism for the abuse of 22 female patients Dobrowolski in his private practice by conducting unnecessary breast and vaginal exams when he was supposed to be helping them with mental health issues.
Many of the encounters were videotaped on a secret surveillance system. Nearly 10,000 photos of patients in various stages of undress were discovered on his computers.
