Police say twenty women – including a 17-year-old of whom “images were taken without her informed consent” – have come forward against psychiatrist Stanley Dobrowolski.
That brings the total number of charges against him to 43.
“We are reasonably confident now that we’ve spoken to anyone who is going to come forward,” Det. Insp. Kevin Heslop said. “The investigation is concluded now.”
Dobrowolski was arrested last November on two counts of sexual assault and one count of voyeurism, and at that time police were trying to identify at least seven women as possible victims.
Two months later, police obtained computers and electronic storage devices, which they said contained images secretly filmed at Dobrowolski’s office between 2007 and 2012.
Then last month, police advised the public they wanted to identify 34 women who were allegedly filmed without their consent during physical examinations at Dobrowolski’s office.
As a result of that appeal, 19 more women came forward, Heslop said.
Dobrowolski is barred from practising medicine.
Among his new charges are child exploitation, producing and possessing child pornography – all three relating to the 17-year-old girl.
He is also charged with the following:
– 18 counts of sexual assault
– 10 counts of voyeurism
– 12 counts of breach of court order
