A psychiatrist who “abused his position of trust” to abuse three patients he was supposed to be caring for has been jailed.
Former doctor, Vijay Gaikwad, inappropriately touched the women between 2019 and 2020 and telling them he needed to carry out a physical examination – when there was no medical need for him to do so…
The 44-year-old, from Lowton, Wigan, denied all of the allegations but was found guilty of several counts of sexual assault at Bolton Crown Court on Friday, 25 July.
He was sentenced to six years in prison…
