Psychiatrist accused of misconduct

A Pinellas County psychiatrist whose medical license was restricted last year was arrested Tuesday and charged with sexual misconduct.
Richard Morales, 46, of 12130 75th St. N in Largo, was booked into the Pinellas County Jail on Tuesday and held in lieu of $ 200,000 bail. Prosecutors filed charges against him on Monday; details of the case were not available.
In December, Morales was charged with two counts of sexual misconduct by a psychotherapist. Those charges are pending, according to computerized court records.
In October, state officials restricted his license amid accusations that he fondled a woman during an examination and took photographs of her nude torso and breasts. News reports indicate Morales was a specialist in stress management and treating chronic pain.
