Boise psychiatrist arrested, accused of sexually assaulting a patient

A Boise doctor was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of committing forcible penetration with a foreign object against one of his patients.

Alexander Wills, 45, was booked into the Ada County jail on the felony charge Tuesday evening, online arrest records show. He was arraigned Wednesday afternoon.

Wills’ LinkedIn account lists him as the owner of/psychiatrist at PERMA Mental Health. The company’s LinkedIn page lists its mission as “to create the highest quality psychiatric mental health services for all by combining psychotherapy, psychedelics, and medication management … “

…Wills was charged in October 2024 with felony drug possession, intentional destruction of a telecommunication line or telecommunication instrument, a misdemeanor; and misdemeanor domestic assault or battery in the presence of a child, online court records show. The felony drug charge was dismissed, and online court records regarding the other two charges indicate that a competency evaluation review has been scheduled to determine if Wills is fit to stand trial…
